Contaminants harm the air conditioner - the oil checker detects this danger
The performance of an A/C system stands or falls with the state of the refrigerant oil. Serious damage is often caused by contaminated oil containing abrasive particles or metal chips. Another common source of failure is refrigerant leakage leading to overheating of the refrigerant oil and hence to impaired lubrication. Therefore, it is absolutely necessary to check the compressor oil before repair work is started.
The oil checker is a safe and simple tool for "oil sampling" in automotive air conditioners. It is simply connected to the A/C system?s two service ports. |
