WAECO ASC Low Emission
The patented low-emission technology of WAECO’s ground-breaking ASC-series A/C service stations has become well established in the market. A/C specialist WAECO now makes the process fully visible: the display of the ASC service stations with low-emission technology now show the individual steps of professional A/C service clearly and comprehensibly.
Until recently, workshop operators could only see the status indicators for refrigerant recovery, vacuum discharge of the A/C system and recharging with recycled refrigerant. The decisive step – the complete discharge of the air conditioner – was not displayed.
With the additional “eco” indicator, WAECO now makes the forth process step of the professional A/C service unit visible. This step is about the interaction of the vacuum pump and the compressor as well as the collection of the residual refrigerant contained in the used oil in the patented used oil container. The refrigerant forced out from the system together with the used oil is drawn out of the container and then returned to the internal tank, so there’s virtually no refrigerant escaping into the environment and the exact amount of the recovered refrigerant can be identified in the weighing procedure. This method avoids misinterpretation with regard to the tightness of the air conditioning system, which would otherwise lead to unnecessary troubleshooting.
